November 2015 -  Deputy Manager (Kirkby)

We are looking for an outstanding calibre individual, who can keep a strong focus on the development and welfare of children, reassure parents and support the manager in leading the nursery. You will need to have 4-5 years good solid experience in early years, of managing a team and providing outstanding care for children 0-5 years. Ideally you will have at least a level 4 qualification but experience is as important; most important is the right person. We are committed to developing our service to meet the needs of children from the local area and offer places to children on the 2-year-offer. You will be both room and office based and lead a room to ensure outstanding teaching and learning so children are not only ready for school but are well-round happy people who can leave here with real confidence in themselves and care for each other. You will need a real sense of wanting to create an outstanding setting that achieves amazing outcomes for children. The staff team are strong, supportive and friendly. November 2015 – nursery teacher (Lydiate)

Lydiate Nursery is a smaller setting and is currently rated GOOD by Ofsted following a positive inspection in 2015. Our pre-school room is strong but our current room leader is moving onto a new role so we have decided that we would like to fill the gap by recruiting a treacher to further enhance what we can offer children and parent’s in the setting. We are looking for an outstanding calibre individual, who can keep a strong focus on the development and welfare of children, reassure parents and lead the staff team. We are looking for a qualified teacher with good solid experience in early years and able to provide outstanding care and education for children 0-5 years. An EYT would be considered.  We are committed to developing our service to meet the needs of children from the local area and offer places to children on the 2-year-offer. You will ensure outstanding teaching and learning so children are not only ready for school but are well-round happy people who can leave here with real confidence in themselves and care for each other. October 2015 – Nursery chef/cook (25 hours per week – Kirkby setting)

Parklands Day Nursery, in the Kirkby is looking to recruit an experienced and qualified chef to ensure fresh high quality food is served daily to all the children who use our setting. The successful candidate will have confidence and initiative with both a minimum level 3 qualification and more than 12 months professional catering experience. The role also involves maintaining a clean working environment and maintaining apprpraite records.

Nursery Nurse (full time)

Parklands Day Nursery, in the Kirkby area of Knowsley, is looking to recruit an experienced and qualified nursery nurse to enhance our baby or toddler room. The successful candidate will have confidence and initiative with both a minimum level 3 qualification and more than 12 months room experience and who can achieve the very best outcomes for the children they care for.

Nursery Nurse’s act as a Key Worker to a group of children between the ages of 3 months and five years in the Nursery setting to support their daily needs. Out nursery nurses are the most important people in ensuring the children and parents have an excellent high quality experience. Nursery nurse’s have a range of duties to ensure the care and education of all children in our care.

Nursery Nurse (casual)

There are occasions when staff need to be covered due to training, holidays or sickness. Casual staff are called in at these times. The role is initially casual but a number of staff who are now permanent began with us on a casual basis. It is a good chance to see if you like working with us.

Parklands Nursery is committed to safeguarding children and all posts require an enhanced level DBS (what used to be called CRB check), 2 references which will be verified and previous experience in an early years setting.
